Swedish Lemon Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Grease and flour an 8\" square pan. Mix 1 cup flour, powdered sugar, and butter well, then put it in the pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes at 350°. Beat eggs, sugar, 2T flour, baking powder and Lemon juice until well blended. Pour over cooked batter. Bake at 350°, for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool, cut into bars, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
