Chicken al a King


  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • salt and pepper to taste


Melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until mixed well. Add milk, broth and bouillon; stir until thick and bubbly. Add cooked chicken; cook 1 to 2 minutes longer. Serve over toast, rice or potatoes.
